So here's the story...

After 5 years in the Active Duty Army, I transferred into the Reserves to spend more time with my newborn baby. I was happy to take a break for a minute and catch my breath. But pretty quickly I started to lose sense of my identity. Who am I outside of being a Mom and, now, Veteran? I needed something outside of parenting that gave me a sense of purpose.

"Well, it shouldn't be too hard to snag a job, right? Maybe something remote! Afterall, I am a Logistics Officer: the ideal candidate," I thought to myself. Boy, was I wrong!! Rejection after rejection came, and I was feeling so defeated. So after a day of watching HGTV (yeah, seriously) I decided I'd get my Real Estate license as a side hustle until a real job came along. Well that little side hustle has blossomed into a successful business that has filled my heart more than I could have ever imagined! I have been able to serve my community, my fellow service members, and spend more time with my family- a dream come true!
